Upcoming Essay: Definition of a 'girl gamer'

I am writing an essay examining the definition of a girl gamer (since it is argued constantly) and I will be posting it here in the next few weeks. I think it is important to agree upon a definition of a term before you begin arguing it with someone. Girl gamer is a very fuzzy and new term, and could be as wide as any girl who has ever played a game to professional gamers (which there are very few) I want to examine my own stand on the term since I feel strongly about what is a gamer and what is not regardless of your gender. Pretty busy other than that but I hope to have a review of Mass Effect done soon.

An oldschool gamer video

I found this artist by chance a year or so ago. While I was packing up my room and had my music on shuffle this song came on, and I remembered how much I love it. Their music is pretty varied, but this is certainly 'nerdcore' as far as hip hop goes. Most of their other songs aren't quite as geeky. Gotta love this one though. Duck hunter game from the NES was great, and using the 8 bit sounds in it makes this song hilarious. Enjoy.

So I'm still sick, and didn't do much today but wallow in my illness. I do however have a wonderful link to share with you. The coolest way to practice safe sex pretty much hilarious. All gamers will get at least a little giggle out of this.
